Car Driver Fails To Yield To Yadkin County Bicyclist
I recently came across this story about a bicyclist injured in a wreck in Yadkin County, North Carolina.
According to the article, bicyclist Gregory Sidden was riding on Center Road near Yadkinville when he was struck by a car driven by Dustin Keaton. Mr. Keaton was charged with failure to yield. Apparently, the wreck happened while Mr. Keaton was making a turn and failed to see the bicyclist riding in the opposite direction.
Mr. Sidden has been hospitalized with serious injuries but has been improving according to the article.
This is a typical wreck affecting many bicyclist and motorcyclists. Simply, car and truck drivers do not pay enough attention to bicycles and motorcycles and serious accidents are the result.
