Davidson County Hit and Run Claims Life of Bicyclist
A terrible wreck in Davidson County this past Tuesday has claimed the life of a bicyclist.
The bicyclist, Richard Clay Wise, was apparently riding his bike near Highway 109 when he was struck by a vehicle. Mr. Wise was taken to a local hospital where he died form his injuries.
The driver of the car, Kenneth Wright, Jr. of Thomasville, later turned himself into the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. He has been charged with numerous offenses including felony hit-and-run and driving without insurance.
Obviously, this is a tragic accident and our sympathies are with the family of the victim.
