Raleigh Bicyclist Injured in North Raleigh Bicycle Wreck
A Raleigh bicyclist was injured on Saturday evening when he was struck from behind while riding on Falls of Neuse Road.
The wreck apparently happened when Linda Banks struck bicyclist Jason Epstein from behind causing Mr. Epstein to be thrown over 100 feet from his bicycle. The SUV that Ms. Banks was driving then dragged the bicycle onto an entrance ramp to I-540. Ms. Banks has been cited with several traffic violations including driving while intoxicated and driving without insurance.

According to reports, this is the 25 bicycle accident in Raleigh in the last four months which is ahead of last year. This accident poses even more significant concerns because the driver was driving while intoxicated and apparently has no insurance for this accident.
