Statesville Physician Seriously Injured in Bicycle Wreck
A physician in Statesville, North Carolina was seriously injured after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Saturday morning.
The wreck apparently happened while the doctor, Christopher Hall, was riding eastbound on Nixon Road. A Toyota Camry came over the crest of a hill and struck Dr. hall from behind. Unfortunately, Dr. Hall was seriously injured in the wreck and was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte for treatment of head injuries.
Apparently, police are still investigating this wreck and have not yet charged the driver of the Camry.
