Chapel Hill NC Tags Bicycles to Increase Visibility
The Town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina has recently started tagging bicycles with brightly colored flyers to raise awareness for bike visibility. The flyers promote the importance of visibility for bicyclists riding at night and reminds bikers to have a white light on the front of the bike and a red reflector on the back of the bike.
The flyers also give the bikers a 10% discount to buy a light at any of the Chapel Hill bike shops. Chapel Hill recently adopted a bike plan and is designated as a national bicycle friendly community.
