Chapel Hill Bicyclist Pamela Lane Killed in Accident
A woman named Pamela Lane was tragically killed in a bicycle accident on Friday in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The accident happened when Ms. Lane was riding her bicycle southbound on the eastern sidewalk of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at around 9:40 am. Apparently, a vehicle exiting the parking lot of a gas station hit Ms. Lane as she rode along the sidewalk. Ms. Lane was 57 years old and was from Durham. Based on available information, there have been no charges brought against the driver of the vehicle and it is not clear what the investigation of local police revealed regarding this accident.
