Bicycle Accident Near Hendersonville NC Claims Life of Cyclist
A young woman named Carrie Byrnside was tragically killed in a bicycle accident on Tuesday morning on Chimney Rock Road near Hendersonville, North Carolina.
The accident happened around 6:30 am as Ms. Byrnside was riding along the left lane of Chimney Road Road. Apparently, she was then struck by two vehicles who say they did not see her. Tragically, Ms. Byrnside did not survive.
It is not clear what the lighting conditions were at the location of the wreck. There is some indication that Ms. Byrnside was not wearing any reflective gear but there is no indication of whether her bicycle had reflectors. As it currently stands, no charges have been filed against the drivers of the vehicles.
