Mooresville NC Teen Bicyclist Inured by Hit-and-Run Driver
On Saturday evening, a teenager in Mooresville, North Carolina was injured when he was hit by a hit-and-run driver on NC 150.
The accident happened near Lee Family Motors at around 11:00 pm. According to available information, the teenager, Shawn Ruffino, was hit from behind by a silver car which knocked him onto the pavement. The vehicle apparently slowed for a moment and then sped away but left a broken mirror behind. Mr. Ruffino was taken to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center for treatment of various injuries including a broken nose.
Mooresville police are looking for the driver of the car and can be reached at 704-664-3311 if anyone has any information about this accident.
