Wilmington Bicyclist Injured in Wreck Near UNCW
On Monday evening around 7:35 pm, a bicyclist was injured in an accident near the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The accident happened when a driver apparently made a left turn at the intersection of Racine Driver and College Acres Drive and hit the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was cited with failure to yield and driving with an expired registration.
