Do you know why the BAC of Christopher Moore hasn’t been made public? Shouldn’t there be more charges against him than the two?
It is not always clear when and if the results of any blood alcohol will be released. Usually, the final accident report prepared by the investigating officers will list the measured blood alcohol level but that report is not yet published to my knowledge. An additional problem in this case is the significant time lapse between the accident and the arrest. During that time, Mr. Moore’s blood alcohol level could have changed due to the natural metabolism of any alcohol in his system at the time of the accident or his ingestion of any additional alcohol since the accident.
Regarding charges, I expect there may be additional charges related to the actual accident such as failure to yield, driving left of center, etc. At this point, I do not know very much about how the accident happened so it is unclear what state driving laws were violated. And, there is the chance that charges are upgraded in the event that Ms. Cove does not survive. Hopefully, that is not something anyone needs to consider.
