Silent Ride in Mocksville to Commemorate Bicycle Wreck Victims

A group of local bicyclists in the Mocksville, North Carolina area will be holding a 4 mile silent bicycle ride next Wednesday to commemorate victims who have been injured or killed while riding their bicycles on North Carolina roadways.

The Ride of Silence will start at Rich Park at 7:00 p.m. and is being led by local bicycle shop owner Eric Phillips who also founded the Davie Cycling Association.  This commemorative ride is happening during National Bike Safety Month and Week and is aimed to raise awareness to the rights of cyclists.
