Charlotte NC Bicyclist Justis Retamer Injured By Hit-and-Run Driver
An eight year old boy was seriously injured while riding his bicycle in east Charlotte on Monday evening. The accident involved a vehicle that fled the scene after the accident which happened near Idlebrook Drive. Fortunately, the young boy, named Justis Retamer, will survive and hopefully recover from his serious injuries which include a broken pelvis, broken ribs and a broken shoulder blade.
The police are looking for the driver of the car which, according to witnesses, may have been speeding through the neighborhood where Justis lives. Anyone with information regarding this accident should call the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
