City of Raleigh Receives Bicycle Pavement Marking Grant

Some good news for bicyclists in Raleigh – the city has recently received a $1.1 million grant from the federal government to construct over 27 miles of marked roadway bicycle lanes.

To help determine the best streets to receive the markings, the city will host four meetings during the month of January during which time you can ask questions about the proposals.  The first meeting will be on Monday January 27 at the Raleigh Municipal Building at 222 West Hargett Street.
